Looking for input on thermacline or any explanation. I think I understand bits and pieces. A thermacline develops in hotter months and the water below it has less oxygen and thus why fish stay above this line. Is this one reason why fish move to backs of creeks in late summer? The backs of creek are shallower and do not have thermacline. Seeking an abundance of knowledge to better my locating fish and bites.
