Hello All,

Anyone have any thing to report on Ray Roberts?

I will be using the Jordan Ramp Friday morning and until it gets fully light I will be limited on where I can run. I've only been on the lake a handful of times and have no gps tracks for the area around Jordan.

I've heard the water temp is still in the low 80's and its a dink fest up shallow. The bass must be using a different calendar, isn't it Fall today? LOL

Thanks!

If you are fishing deep, from the middle of the channel between the island and the east shore/coves you are clear to run all the way down to the dam. Try not to go past a line between Wolf and the West Bank of that arm because of shallow humps and concrete foundations. You would probably be fine at this level, but if you want to head down to some rip rap around the park or the dam, or the bluffs with deep water, you're good to go!

I have a small club tourny out there Sunday. Any tips on where these deep water spots are. I caught several fish yesterday but only 2 of them were over 14 inches.

I have been hearing good things about medium diving cranks on rock producing nice 2-3lb fish. Just from a few guys that have purchased baits from me though. They say 7-10ft and rock are the key. I couldn't give you any better advise though ray roberts fish hate me and I can't catch any of them regardless of size. Have also heard there have been some bigger fish caught in brush piles around 20ft.

Did you catch them at the dam with the spook?
Or was that up in one of more common areas like Indian sand buck ect.....
