Was at a conference for work in Grapevine, hotel was connected to bass Pro shops, was wanting a 4 wt for pan fishing, bought the combo set for 99$ was it worth it, played with a lot of nice rods just couldn't justify the money for blue gillin, any one have that model and how do you like it, just finshed playing with it in the front seemed all right to me, I've never been a long distance caster so I went with the 7 footer for easier storage to keep in the truck

It is 100% an excellent choice. I believe that you'll be happy with your choice.

Good choice, nothing wrong with that set-up. I personally like the Bass Pro equipment.

A shorter rod is great for panfish.
Tie on some little poppers and get after them!
