Was down there Monday. Cabins were almost ready. Trailers were not there. Talked to Barbara and she said the trailers are still a few weeks out.

We have one of those trailers booked for Champs. When I talked to them on Monday, they told me the issue is they have to get the concrete slabs poured higher than they were before to meet the new flood code. She still thought they would have them in just in time for the tourney but had warned us there was a chance that wouldn't happen too. We are screwed if they don't get them in since obviously every other place is booked.

Better book a hotel room in Bossier as a backup. I would get on priceline and book a room that allows cancellation the day before your stay.

Most hotels require 24 hour notice of cancelation

Just found out they now think there is very little chance those trailers will be ready in time. Really sucks but oh well. IF anyone knows of someone that rents a house in that area on weekends please send me a PM

Red river south called me yesterday and told me that some of the cabins will not have power and to find a backup. I have cabin 36. Something to do with the underground supply. If you are planning on staying in a cabin you may want to call them.

I have to give them some credit. Their business and property was HAMMERED by those floods and they are doing all they can to get it all ready for our tournament. We also had to find a back up because they said the trailer we have reserved most likely won't be ready by the time we arrive. While it sucks and is a big inconvenience its nothing compared to what they have been thru.

Just a thought...would they let you bring a generator?
