OP shotgunwilly Extreme Angler Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1,210	Mark turned himself in to Trip, stating he briefly forgot about the no snag rule on Sturgeon Bay and kept the fish. Takes a lot of character and a class act to turn yourself in after the tournament and miss the Bassmaster Classic because of it. Great man.

Looks like he knowingly broke the rules, weighed his fish, walked across the stage with it in the back of his mind. Then got home that night and felt bad about it and turned himself in. IMO I give more credit and class to the guys that threw those fish back on the water when nobody was looking. Im glad he did the right thing but I don't think he should be commended for it. Prob a great guy and a great fishermen.... Just my .02 cents.

We as natural men usually don't immediately recognize wrong doing and confess sin. It often takes a while for God to work on us and for us to humble ourselves enough to make things right.
