For any lake - Seaguar InvizX nah. I use InvisX all the time. But I'd never use it on Rayburn. Lol.

Tough question.... I mean Rayburn requires a different brand of line. I dunno what that is though. I use 10 to 20lb on most lakes , including Rayburn, just depends what ur doing.

Great question Sparky!
Lets break this down from a fundamental standpoint...
We all know that Rayburn is known for red. Hence the color "Rayburn Red".
Knowing this, I would want my line to blend in with all the Rayburn red forage swimming in the lake. What I am saying is, and I am glad you hit on this, is that a lot of guys "match the hatch" with their baits, however not many know how powerful it is to do the same with your line!
Imagine that. The fish will follow your line right down to the bait! Very good catch in looking for a specific line for Rayburn!
So for sure, get yourself some red line. Cajun red mono, or Vermilion red Power Pro is what I would suggest to get the big ones following your line right to the bait!
Good luck!

Keep it simple and affordable. Redlabel in 12, 15, and 20 with kvd line conditioner. You can do 90% of everything on rayburn with those 3.

Sunline Model Flourocarbon Try this new flourocarbon. I just recently got a spool to try out and was amazed at how smooth and limp this line was. It's super strong and knot strength on this line is superior. And at $10.99 per pack, it can't be beaten. I've been burned and then burned again by Seaguar Red Label.

Rayburn is a different fishery. I'm assuming he is talking about pound test. 15-17 invizx for cranking 20-25 for everything else. 50-65lbs braid for other things. 50# if its a long cast. powerpro original. or 65# maxima for flipping.

Interesting you had so many issues. Ive caught lots of 6-8lb fish and a handful of 8-10 with no issues. Some if those were on 12lb cranking too.

For any lake - Seaguar InvizX +1 seaguar regardless of the lake and the poundage would depend on the technique and application for me.
