Thought about buying a few sets, just can't seem to spend almost $5 for a pair of them. Are they that advantageous?

I have them on all my reels, I love them and will always have them moving forward. Why do I love them? Not sure other them I like the bulky feel I guess and the traction they seem to give.

It depends on the handle. I don't use them on any of my Lew's reels or my BPS Extremes, but most of my other reels have them on them.

I have them on one reel and honestly my hand slips off that handle more than the reels without the grips.

Especially in the rain.
Since I've switched to Lew's I don't use them anymore.
I really like the size and shape of their paddles.

Not a big fan of them. Too bulky for me. Lots love them though so I am in the minority.

I might buy a pack and put 1 on each reel to see which handle I use more.

They will slip up against the main handle bar sometimes in heavy use, but I like them. We have them on all our baitcasters, never thought about putting them on a spinning reel, guess you could.

Then we are both in it.

Like like them on my reels that I have setup for spinner baits, cranks, buzzbait, and anything else that I just basically reel in.

I've got them on one reel just because they came on it when I bought it. Don't really see any advantage. They are bulky like a few others have said. I will probably take them off eventually.

I hate them, they want to slide around. They are stupid.
