Anyone using this rod? What do you think of it? Any particular dislikes?

I just bought athe 6ft 8 model and love it It has a good tip to cast with and plenty of backbone plus it has a shorter handle which I like. I plan on adding the other models to my arsenal as well.

Keep us posted if you get the 7-3 model And tell us what you think

I have the 7'3 and it is ok but I would spend a little more and purchase a falcon bucoo. It is way better!

The Jason Christie JCC-73JW is built on the same blank as the Bucoo Micro Amistad BMC-73H, and the new for 2016 standard guide Bucoo Amistad BCC-7-173.

Compare the prices and you'll see it's a great rod for the money.

Sorry, I use the bucoo micro and it feels way different than the Jason Christie rod. The bucoo regular guides and the Jason Christie rod are the same price so probably same blank. Is the bucoo micro a different blank?

I agree also I have a couple bucco micro Amistad and they feel like a pool cue compared to the JC pitching stick that I own. I like the JC but I don't even flip with it because it's so limber, heck I use it for cranking and topwater. I like it alot but I don't think it's stiff enough to pitch or flip very well.
