In 2016 TTZ will host 6 trail events and a 2 day fall championship. The trail events will all be $10k guaranteed to first place, and $20k guaranteed to first place at the championship. In order to qualify for the championship a team must fish 4 of the 6 events or finish in the top 25 in Angler of the Year standings.
The TTZ Championship will be a two day event in the fall, on one or two central Texas lakes. Lake(s) to be determined later depending on water levels and fishing conditions. All teams qualified for the championship are eligible to fish day one. Day two of the championship the field will be cut down to 75 boats. The top 25 teams in AOY will automatically qualify for day 2 of the championship. The remaining 50 boats will be go to the top finishing teams on day one of the championship. The team with the highest combined weight from day one and two will be the 2016 TTZ Championship winners.
Entry fee for all events is $200 per team, this includes the Big Bass pot. Youth/Adult entry is $150 per team, this includes the Big Bass pot.
