Thanks to the Staff at Mountain Sports for running a good tournament today. Thanks to Jackson Kayak for putting on the River Bassin Tournament! There was a good turn out and from all the conversation I heard at Mountain Sports this afternoon everyone had a great time! Congratulations to the winners of the tournament! Congratulation to the fellow fisherman who won the drawing for the 2016 Jackson Coosa! Looking forward to next year's River Bassin Tournament!

Was a great time Rick. Still in shock the Trinity fished better than Brazos.

The Trinity in and around Fort Worth is not fished as much as the Brazos. There are areas on the Clear Fork coming out of Benbrook that do not get fished hardly at all. After this tournament and the success so many had on the Trinity I am sure we are going to see a lot more fishing being done on the Trinity. If the Trinity River Vision would spend some money on building areas for parking and launching paddle craft that are easy to get to you would see a lot more kayak fishing being done.
Looking forward to the River Bassin Tournament in 2016!

I hope to get to fish the next time this rolls around... I took my new Coosa HD out yesterday and slimed her good at Grapevine.

Big thanks to Jackson Kayaks and Mountain Sports for getting me out of my starter yak and into a real fishing yak in such a short time smile...

Im not shocked. Like was mentioned earlier Trinity is way less pressured than the Brazos with some spots being very hard to access. Im sure that will change now with the recent success it has had. Wish I could have fished this one sounds like it was fun!
