In the market for a spinnerbait setup I'm not trying to spend so much 150-200 is my limit for both rod and reel. I was thinking the no.8 black out rod 7'3 MH and a 6:3:1 H20 express mettle reel. What do yall think for small to large spinnerbaits? Any feedback helps thanks guys and gals!

If it were me I would spend money on a better reel. Lots of options for reels in the $79-$99 range. Then a descent rod.

That's a solid reel. I love mine for spinnerbaits. I use it with 50# braid and the drag set at a good firm level. Has worked well for me so far. I am unfamiliar with that rod, but I am sure it's good.
