I need some help on the differences between a 2003 Cougar and 2003 Jaguar.

The 2 boats were built on the same 20'4" hulls. The difference was the way they were laid out
inside the boats. I have a 99 Jag and my only complaint is the seat being so far out on the nose.
If I remember right my Jag has a open area in front of the drivers console and the Cougar has
a enclosed storage box with a lid.

The Jaguar was the largest premium boat at that time. The Cougar was not quite as premium. I bought a Pantera III in 2002 and looked at all three.

Ask the question on the BCB owners board and you may get more specific differences.

Real trucks don't need spark plugs.

Call BassCat and talk to them. They can tell you everything about both boats.

The Jag weighs 250 lbs more than the Cougar. The front seat on the Jag has 2 positions for the pedestal, about 7" apart, although one may be covered with carpet. Also the front deck seems a little wider. The Jag rides better than the Cougar, probably because of the extra weight.
I have owned a 2003 Cougar and now have a 1999 Jag with a 2010 250 Pro XS. I really like it better than the Cougar. Both are great boats and you will be happy with either one.

Rick after I read this I went and checked my 1999 Jag and there are not 2 seat platforms/positions
on my boat. Also I have never heard Basscat say anything about there being 2.
