I'll be honest, I've been playing to much golf this summer and haven't gotten out to ray Roberts probably since early May.... But to keep it short and sweet, I was wondering if anyone had any current reports to give and maybe some patterns to try to get me moving in the right direction?? I have a limited amount of time today and don't want to leave skunked

There are a lot of small fish (6-10 inches) up shallow and they will bite anything small. The good fish are out on main lake structure in 15-30 feet. I caught a 7.5 and some other good keepers two weeks ago on a hump east of Wolf Island.

My advice is to go as far away from the shoreline as you can and look for drops and humps.

I tried buck creek and had no luck. Next morning headed up to Indian creek and caught a few 4 pounders on white spinnerbaits in the brush. A few dinks on a t rigged fluke I never have luck in buck creek. Plus it's hard for me to fish deep cause I'm in a kayak.
Best of luck !!!

Thanks for the advice I'll try them if I can get out tomorrow. No luck today and it was Hardin to focus and get anything done with rain and cold wind this morning. We called it a day around ten. I tell you what though I love seeing that lake when it's full like it is
