Fished a local creek this morning and the bite was "ON FIRE"! Fish were very active including the Rios. Caught over 20 Rios. Had one trophy Rio in the 9"range and the rest were in the 8"range. All healthy, fat, and full of fight. Rounding out the catch were a mess of Longear in the 5 to 7" range,a couple of small bass, and a few small Bluegill.I also caught a nice Redbreast in the 9"range. Fish were caught in 2 to 4 feet of water holding by brush piles and tree overhangs. All fish were caught under a float using worms. Fish were released to fight again. The water was clear with a good current. Ending the week with some GREAT creek fishing. It just don't get any better. fish

NOTE! hammer Image Shack where I store most of my Forum pictures crashed this week. As a result some of my past postings the pictures were removed. bang

Do you typically walk up and down or wade all these creeks you go to or just fish where the road crosses them?

"Tommar": I usually wade the creeks and the Hill Country Rivers I fish. I am usually in knee to waste deep water. Fish are in the deeper pockets of water usually by a brush pile or a tree overhang. thumb

Side Note: I do have certain spots on various creeks and rivers where I can easily just fish from the banks. coolio
