I've caught a ton of fish using jerkbaits in the colder months but I have never even attempted to use them when the water is warmer. Does anyone have any luck using them at other times throughout the year?

Oh yeah. Just work it faster. Deadly when worked parallel to dock pilings. Prepare for some catfish strikes though. Especially on Cedar Creek.

I think the main thing is having clear water.

I've caught a ton on them all through the year. With various speeds and length of pauses between twitches.

year around bait. I throw one when for whatever reason fish want a topwater but don't seem to get it good or follow it. Works good on flats when bass are cruising.

I throw and catch fish on a jerkbait year around. Right now the fish are schooling on my home lake and a jerkbait catches them better than any other technique.

Caught some on this pattern sunday.

Thanks Lee, they turned out really nice i have been very pleased with this pattern. They can be tuned to suspend, slow float, or slow sink depending on the hardware.

Guys thank you for the feedback, these sold very quickly I think in less than 24 hours. I have been having issues getting the holographic 110 back in stock.
