I thought I would put a report together for you guys coming out to fish Lake Fork this weekend.

The water temps where I am fishing go from 78 in the morning to 84 in the afternoon. In the mornings, I have been fishing the grass in the backs of the creeks in 1'-5' of water with a Ribbit Frog (Melon/Red/Pearl.) I am also throwing a lot of weightless flukes and wacky worms. The color that works best for me has been (Mardi Gras) and I am throwing a speed worm (Green Pumpkin) T-Rig with a 1/8 oz weight, just reeling it slow.

After that I am going back out deep throwing a Drop Shot and C-Rig. On the Drop Shot I am using a #1 rigging hook with a 1/4 to a 5/16 weight and a 16''- 18'' leader. The baits have been 4'' Buddy's Custom ( Tomato/ Candy Bug) and on my C-Rig I am using a 1 oz weight with a 5' leader and a #3 rigging hook. I am just using a fluke in (Mardi Gras / Green Pumpkin. I am using these baits while fishing main lake points and roadbed in 16'-22' of water.

I hope this will help y'all out and it's looking like it's going to be a great Fall. If anyone is looking to get out there feel free to hit me up.
