Yep the keeper works great, been using those for about a year now. I make mine with a different hook!

Let us know how those bat heads work for you David. I have a handful but have not tried them yet. They'd most likely work well for cast and drag or downsize to 1/16 for dock shooting since the eye is on the front of the head. Give us a report after you try them please. Curious minds want to know.

Because it's a MANs jig head... Nice to see you on the crappie section. Speaking of manly stuff, you got them kill whitey shirts in? I'll swing by and buy one.

The brush buster head I have not fished yet, but getting good reports on it as a dock shooter jig. Will be giving it a try soon.

Thanks Larry! Yes the J keeper will hold your soft plastics for sure. A J keeper will make your soft plastics last longer too! Pb collars and barbs split soft plastics

As Jigum said above, I've been using them exclusively now for over a year and they do work great. Especially when dock shooting, if you are like me, I hit the back of the dock or under it pretty often and that usually will cost a jig body over time. With the keeper, that problem is solved. They keep the jig body straight on the hook for a much better presentation.
