We did really good catching catfish around wind point park this last spring for spawning cats. Loved the camping as well. Any seasoned trophy cat fisherman have any advice on fishing this area of the lake during November for the big cats? Or is the south end of the lake in deeper holes really where it's at?

Have had my best luck there in early & late Winter ,as well as early Spring. November should do well.

It's going to be interesting... make good use of your wader if you have one...
Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

I have a boat, 16 foot tracker V-guide. It gets me around the stumps and handles deep rough water (to a certain extent, I don't get stupid lol). Spring time was amazing but the areas around wind point park was basically all 5-8ft. I'm sure it'll be more full in November after the rain this year. Hoping to find channels to drift towards the bridge. Or tie up to the stumps close to channels. I could try by the dam as long as there's not too much wind.
