There are a few that fish it regularly, including me. Do a search in the forums for Bardwell and you will find the info that all of us members have posted.

Fun lake back in the day for me. Several good areas to target. Best way to learn a lake is fish it with someone that has experience on it. There are the obvious areas like the dam but to truly learn it takes time on the water.

I've been fishing the lake regularly with my fiance for the past 3 weekends. In 4 trips we have caught 63 lmb. Mostly dinks but she did land a 3 1/2 pounder last weekend. Every fish we have caught has been in less than 5 ft of water on texas rig senkos with a 1/8 ounce weight in some variation of watermelon color. Hope this helps.
