I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I just had my boat detailed and coated with Ceramic Pro by Joel from DFW Marine Detailing. I've been using Joel for about 2.5 years and he's always outdone himself. Just one of those guys that is proud of what he does and takes ownership of your boat. Usually he would wash, clean and polish the boat, this time he added the Ceramic Pro coating. He coated the engine, radar, deck, upholstery, even the Talon (which is not permanently installed in the pictures).

Main benefit is you don't have to wash your boat as much since the coating will prevent dirt, blood, guts, scales, etc. from sticking. Also provides protection from scratches, etc. Here are some pictures.

Thanks guys. It has a 3 year warranty as long as you have a yearly inspection. You can extend the warranty. I used to do a wax coat and detail twice a year so going to once a year is fine with me.

I just took my boat and had the deck, sides, electronics and trolling motor completely covered with bird droppings.

The sad thing is it actually looks better now.

I think Joel is going to post before and after pics of mine in Facebook. When I took it in the deck was shiny (it was covered in dried up shad slime and scales). It took them 5 hours with industrial bleach to clean it. I had dead dried up shad under the Yeti!! This is going to help keep it clean.
