Anybody ever fish under the bridge at lewisville?

I'll be out Saturday morning lined up at the entrance into Wheeler Branch, likely will fish from 7 AM (the opening time) to 1 or 2 PM.

There are several pretty regular kayakers out there: Me, Gary, J.J., Keith, PhotoTex in a bass buster, Brett and his son Adin. And several more.

It's a troll only lake, clear water, and a good fishery.

It'd be a great place to give your kayak a go one of these days.

I've been poking around the LL bridge with my wife. We were out on a weekend-day and didn't feel like spending a great deal of time with the higher traffic in that area, so we weren't able to hook up with anything (surely it has nothing to do with my inability to catch fish, right?).

There is a lot of construction going on there during the week, so I'm not sure about how traffic would be tomorrow either, but it's probably better than the weekend with the pleasure cruisers.

If I weren't so busy this week I would absolutely opt into going out with you tomorrow, I'm still pretty new to the sport so you wouldn't have to worry about me outpacing you like some of the pros around here.

No luck! Water was rough under 35. Threw minnows and jigs. I'll be to try again when I get some time:)
