I would recommend small baits, size 1.0 and 1.5 crankbaits, small flukes, etc. The shad are really small on most of the lakes right now. I have had best luck lately on 1.5 size medium divers fishing 4-8ft have not been on Bridgeport this year but if I was going I would be down sizing baits.

Good luck and happy birthday.

Thanks all. Well, fishing was (for these two) slow. Wise County Park and further south. Not much. Went north towards Hwy 380 but, Lordy, it got ROUGH...so not much fishing there.
We managed one each small large mouth bass....maybe 7-8" ....slow. Water temps of 80+ and wind.
I will have to look for the map David, if you gave it to me, I have it...LOL, Lord knows where but I have it, I'll have to look
God Bless
