What's your first choice for looking for fish, structure, etc?

I only used 2D until I got a lesson on how to calibrate/interpret DI from Slade Dougherty and now DI is what I use 90% of the time. DI not that great if you are staying in one spot or WOT but excellent for everything in between.

I have SI and DI and 2D and use DI 95% of the time. Use SI in combination with DI sometimes. Can't remember the last time I used 2D. It's like using a bicycle when you own a car.

I use my 2d and down imaging to cross check each other. Sometimes things on 2d look like fish or something else! A good down image will help decider. If you have the ability to run both at the same time I would highly recommend it.

I always start out using 2D. Then will go to DI to look again. As said, if you can, running both at the same time is better.
