What a great way to start the 2015-2016 THSBA season. Because of the huge interest in high school fishing, the THSBA moved into 4 divisions for this year: East, West, Central and Houston.
The East Division kicked off the season on Lake Palestine on September 12, 2015 at The Villages Marina. We had 148 teams fish this event with several new schools joining the THSBA East Division this year.
Congratulations to Trenton Gross & Seth Kutch of White Oak High School took the win with a very nice 5 fish limit weighing 17.73 lbs with the tournament big bass of 7.20 lbs. Nice job, gentlemen!

The top 60% of the field from each division move on their respective THSBA Regional Championships in May 2016 (East vs Houston @ Sam Rayburn and West vs Central @ Richland Chambers). Then the top 50% of both the regionals move on to the THSBA Championship in June 2016 on a lake TBD.
