Any of you guys fish your bass buster style boats on Ray Bob or any other big lakes?

Where do you like to put in?

Thinking about taking my buster to Ray Bob. I want to fish it and lookin for the best place to put in.

Of course only have the TM so cant be running a long way! ha ha

Check it out on Google Earth. You will see what he is talking about pretty clearly.

Good tip! Thanks. Any other suggestions welcome.

What about the marina at Pond Creek on Ray Bob?

Marina cove is good. Lots of tournament released fish in their. Pecan Creek if you wanna fish the bridge and it's not windy. You can launch into state Park cove from a few campsites if you're camping.

Johnson branch if the wind isn't too strong out of n or s. Pond Creek is good and those 2 coves are protected from n and s winds. It it's NE it will blow onto the ramp from the main lake.

I prefer buck the majority of the time.

I've launched my 8-footer all around the east side of the lake, but Buck Creek is definitely tops, IMHO.

Lots of places to launch and fish on big lakes, just about any river coming in with a bridge and a ramp.

I've had by 10' bass raider on Amistad lake and Corpus Christi Bay. They won't sink but you go to use common sense on safety. My limit is 10 mph winds in areas without a lot of boat traffic and I stick close to shorelines. The pontoon style of these boats are not very wave friendly.

I know a guy posted that he and his boy fished Falcon in their Bass Hunter.

He had a lot of cool pics.

Old post wonder if I could find it.

I take mine out of Buck Creek all the time, I fish around the trees on the other side of the rail road tracks and do well.

When I am not fishing I am doing Home Inspections! Or is it supposed to be the other way around??? www.kcquality.com

We actually did put in at Buck Creek and fish. It was not too bad. Plenty of options close to the launch. It was a calm day, would not want to be out there in the wind.
