Can anyone recommend a method to repair my skeg that was torn off at Cedar Mills last weekend? If welding a new on on is the best fix, can you recommend an experienced welder in the Fort Worth area?

I called B&B and they were very nice and the price was only $50 more than buying the skegshield /skeguard. Thanks Ranger.

If you're boat is capable of speeds in excess of 50 mph, you need to replace the complete case. Loss of the skeg at high speed will result in loss of steering control.
