How many of you guys use either a go pro or something similar while fishing? Just curious because they are cool cameras and I was thinking of getting one to film my trips from time to time.

Which is better. The Hero 3 or Hero 4? And, black or silver.

Depends on what your looking for. I have the silver 4, but haven't been on the water since the accident, so no fishing videos yet. Hopefully I'll have some in the next few months

Here's a pretty good resource

http://www.engadget.com/2015/07/14/gopro-hero4-session-versus-the-hero4-silver/

Several videos comparing the various models are available as well. I'm sure you'll like whichever model you decide on, they are very versatile, and addicting. Good luck

Well, I got one today. I ended up getting the Hero 4 silver I will get familiar with it this week. And hopefully get some shots next weekend with it while on the water.

Spend the money and get the new remote, you won't know how you lived without it thumb
