Have you found one for braid etc. Cheap clippers and some scissors just fray the line.

Berkley makes an inexpensive pair of scissors for about $3. Just put tension on the braid when cutting
it and you'll get a nice clean cut.

Fiskars for scissors, like the ones kids use. Cuts braid like buddah, I also need some good aluminum pliers, the splizzors look good though.

I use the berkley. they are starting to get dull for braid so I'll buy another pair. Great for the price.

Fiskars seem to work well, and cheap.

Yep, these little plastic handled "kids" scissors are cheap & cut braid better than anything. Keep a couple in the boat always.

I have had the Rapala Pliers & Scissor Combo Kit for over a year now and both work excellent. The scissors on one side are serrated so they slice through braid no problem. Only about $15 for the set.

If you are looking for clippers for mono/floro/braid, these are the best I have used. I have been using them for a couple months now and really like them. Just get a little carabiner and you can clip them to you.

I use the red KVD split ring and serrated scissors by Mustad. Have (3) pair for multiple use.
At Walmart they $ 8. Clean up nicely with WD 40. Have lock device really compact.

+2 on the Boomerang snips. Cuts braid easily and they are retractable and always on your person.
