Old boat was a 19' Carolina skiff with a 1985 70 hp Evinrude 3 cylinder 2 stroke

New boat is a 24' Carolina Skiff with a 2015 150 hp Suzuki 4 cylinder 4 stroke

Both boats consumed about the same amount of fuel, pretty amazing how far technology has come in outboards.

Yeah, I've got a Mercury 150 four stroke and it is very miserly also. It runs like a good car engine. These new four strokes are great.
