Got up this morning--pouring down rain in VanZandt County!
But we have had a trip booked with Matt on Tawakoni for a
couple months, so we had a dilemma--wait it out or go home.
We waited it out, donned rain suits, and fished in what was left of the storm.
Well worth the effort-rain let up, lake glassed over, & ended
up with 96 hybrids, stripers, & sandies. Nice cloud cover all day with
cooler than usual temps. Sure glad we stayed with it.

Very nice Doug. Matt will load the boat with fish for you. A little rain never hurt anyone and I am loving this cooler weather.

I was in the same situation this morning. I was in the yellow skeeter on a sonar learning trip with Michael Littlejohn. We were mostly playing with the graph but still did a good amount of fishing. Threw everything back but had a 50+ fish day.

You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer,
But do you really need to son???

The old timers used to say "the fish are already wet". What did they know?
