LOL! My son and I had arrived at one of the community ponds in the area and a guy that looked like you with kayak stickers on the rear window of his vehicle showed up with his family to do some fishing. We started to get the fly rods out and I realized that I had left my lanyard at home with my tippet, so we left before I could introduce myself to a fellow kayaker. We fish all around Keller when we can't get the kayaks out. Would love to join up with you this weekend, but we have a baseball game at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Haven't fished the Brazos in 17 years. I hope you can schedule another one soon. I would like to attend.
 I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.

I'd love to fish this area. It looks absolutely beautiful! But the distance is the killer for me. I can drive to Broken Bow, OK, and fish the Lower Mtn Fork in about the same amount of time. And I don't have to deal with Dallas and FW traffic. Hope it's a great get together!

Apparently I have a lot of Doppelgangers out there, because I here that quite a bit. I drive a Red 4 door Jeep with a white skull and crossbones by the front tire. We'll try to do another one soon. I think we're going to try to start doing different kinds. Catfishing during the winter...bass during the spring...gar during the summer. That kind of thing.

What I think we'll do is just schedule an unofficial open invite. Meaning, it wont be a Hook1/River Ratz open invite...It'll just be me and Rod hitting the river and inviting anyone who wants to go. What I'd like to do is get 20-25 going once a quarter or so. That would allow me to justify asking Hook1 for some goodies to give away. Chad has already said he's interested, but the size and type of gifts will be determined by the turn out.

Coming from your side of the world would be even worse. Its an awesome place to fish though.

Looks like we are go-for-launch! The storms aren't suppose to roll in until later in the day. As long as we are off the water by 12 or 1, we should be fine. With the fact that it should be overcast, it should be on fire.

It was a great trip. According to the reports we got from everyone, it looks like we caught well over 150 fish as a group, and everyone was over 10 for the day. We got rained on pretty good at the start of the trip, but that only lasted about a half hour. Other than that, it was perfect weather all day.
