Has anyone been out there lately? Was wondering how the fishing was?

Right now it is still tough. The lake looks good with miles of green flooded stuff out to 10 foot deep. I don't know where the fish are though. Even the sand bass have quit schooling. There is tons of shad though so sometime this fall it is going to get better.

RIP my dear fried. It's been almost 3 years since I have fished it. It was so sweet to me for so long. I look forward to seeing her come back to what she used to be.

I hope so, I hope it will at least turn on sometime this year. I there any place else you guys would recommend for the rest of the month? Will be starting vacation Sept. 17th.
Would be nice to catch a few good bass!
