BCB might have been the fastest at one time but I doubt it now. I have a 2015 Phoenix 919 with a 225 Mercury that will bust 80mph on a 98deg day. I run it every week at 76/77mph with 2 250lb guys in it. Not to mention it's the smoothest riding boat I've ever been in. What pitch prop?

I run a BassCat CougarFTD which is 20' 4". with 250 proXS, 26 pitch Fury prop. Had it on Fork 3 weeks ago GPS showed 82 and that was just trim up, not trimming up jackplate as well...Probably could've gotten 2-3 mph more at least with jackplate. Yes I realize I have a 250, you have a 225. 25hp really doesnt give you much more speed though... Not trying to be an @$$ but IMO BCB are still faster

In the real world that Phoenix will run 72 +/- with a 225. Eyra will run 80-82 ish with a Mercury 250 Pro XS.

What's the purpose of having a boat that will run 75-80+mph? Makes a big difference in tournament fishing on long runs or trying to get to your spots before everybody else does:)

What's the purpose of having a boat that will run 75-80+mph? Too brag, understandable professional fishermen cause their fishing for their livelihood and need to get 20 different spots during tourney hours
