Had my best luck there fishing either off the runway, in the Johnson creek that runs under 14th street. There is a submerged stock pond south of the tollway about center of lake don't have the gps waypoint with me right now. Just remember even if you catch something you might want to eat (crappie, cats) the lake is on the restricted list for consumption due to the types of pollution in the water. The land was old cotton fields before construction with among other things DDT being used on it.
