Very nice video,,,,,, But it makes me think...... I have never been digging in a garden and dug up a worm that jumped up in the air. Maybe that is why I get more strikes when I just let the worm sit/lay on the bottom of the lake. That is the natural position of a worm on the lake floor......crawling on the bottom. The worm on the drop would be resemble a worm falling out of a tree,,,,,but certainly not jumping up and down. Makes for interesting thought as to "WHY bass strike a worm".

Hey Lunkers, here's an idea for a video. Can you take one of various worms and various weighted hooks/sinkers, and some without any weights at all (weightless). I'm curious on the how fast some of them actually fall to the bottom after hitting the surface of the water. Some of the heavier weights I use, feel like they splash and are at the bottom in less than a second--and unless the fish is sitting there in plain view, it seems like this is way to quick of a drop. Just an idea.

Great video! Shakey head is one of my favorite techniques!

Sure I can do that for you. Do you have a specific weight you normally use? Hey Lunkers, here's an idea for a video. Can you take one of various worms and various weighted hooks/sinkers, and some without any weights at all (weightless). I'm curious on the how fast some of them actually fall to the bottom after hitting the surface of the water. Nightcrawlers don't live in lakes, washed in occasionally maybe. Fish don't see something and decide to eat it they just eat everything that moves and if it don't feel right or taste right spit it out.

The term shaky head came from the presentation of not moving the worm but keeping it in the same place and shaking the worm.
