This Ol gal almost snatched the rod out of my hand. Thought I had gar for a second, then this chunk came flying out of the water. Had her hooked in the top lip, spit the hook and somehow got rehooked during the fight. Got a pretty good soaking in the Ocean Kayak. Measured 23" long, no idea on the weight.

Caught two other dinks, all on the KVD Spinner bait. Also lost a combo at about 6:30 this morning bang 6'6" All star paired with Daiwa. Was a pretty nice morning. Till the wind started picking up. Got to be too much work out of the yak. I called it a day!

Was a guy launching a boat about 50 yds from that ramp. Was two bass boats out there this morning.

There's a good hard bank down there where Magged is talking about. A lotta guys used to launch from there when the water was low.
