I just installed an ez troll last week. Seems very durable and there are step by step videos on their website. After you get over the fact that you are cutting a huge hole in your deck, it should go smoothly. I am very happy with the results.

I have it. And don't like it. I can't get to the momentary/off/troll switch on the side of the pedal now.

I don't know why you're having a problem with that unless you didnt center the pedal or you have Paul Bunyan hands. I have large hands and still get to it fine.
