After working 33 straight days on 12 hour shifts i finally got a day off. So i put out an APB to the Hubbard gang and said i am FREE So i hooked up with Rockwall Roy and the Boyer gang ( Dr. Whiplash and Ladies Man Ray) met us out there. So we started off with one boat at one boat show and the other boat at a second boat show and top water was happening at both but most were smalls with a few keepers in the mix. Then it all died off and we went hunting. Fishboy Frank, Champion fish Gene and Double Dee David were going to come out for the evening shift so i will let them tell that part of the day. I have been hearing the fishing was kind of off in the mornings but i guess the fish heard i was off and stepped up to the plate. Between the two boats in the morning shift we caught way over 100 fish and that is not counting the dinks in the morning topwater. We found them on sloped drop offs in several spots. We also got some hybrid and a bunch of mag sandbass. Ran into Minn and his friend in the red skeeter center console. Good seeing you guys. Also got to fish by the gentleman in the Hobie kayak nice talking with you. This was just what the doctor ordered after being at work a solid month. Roy thanks for taking me , Terry Ray great to see you guys.

If there is anyone that needed a "Labor Day" break, and fishing on the lake, it was Keith! I had mentioned it's been great lately and it looks like it was way great for you all! I would have come with you guys had it not been for family in town. I seriously contemplated telling them I had to go to the office. But I work from home so that wouldn't have flown! The night shift was slower. The boats ran through fish at least five times. Was so frustrating. I managed to catch a few hybrids and about 15-sandies and called it a day. Gene and Dave can attest to the boat zoo. Was crazy. The birds started working at 6:30 and I called Gene and got his voice mail. After the birds were run off three times by three boats I texted Gene was heading in. Even the birds were looking at those boaters like seriously? See you soon!

Good time on the water

Glad you guy's found them. I was at the dock Sunday Morning but helped a friend with his slip instead of going out. Did go Monday morning and it was a Zoo as well. A boat even drifted into me when I was spot locked but the fishing was good. Fish schooled for an hour and then a slow roll would still catch'em. I went in after a couple of hours and enjoyed the AC. Hope to see you guys next time. Keith I did talk to the guy in the Hobie kayak he was a nice dude. He could get that thing moving pretty fast, he said he even peddled down to dam Sunday and used a sail to get back
