Looking for suggestions on a dedicated worm/ jig Rod to pair with my revo premier. Looking at split grip 7'. Will be throwing around 1/4 to 1/2 worms and jigs. Would like a light weight Rod and under $225.00. Thanks in advance for any help.

Take a look at a TFO Tactical. $150-$160 depending on exact model. Split grip, cork instead of foam. Very light and sensitive AND a lifetime warranty.

For $259.95 you can get a Kistler helium3 MH X fast 7-1 1/4 - 1oz This is a sweet rod. I have 2 of them one for a jig and one for a worm or other creature bait.

Hard to beat the Kistler KLX and in your price range. The KLX also uses the North Fork composites blank from Gary Loomis. The only thing I have found that is more sensitive is the Kistler Z-bone

I recently picked up a Phenix M1 heavy action rod. I've really liked it so far. I liked it more than a new Loomis e6x (icast rod of the show). M1 was lighter and had a better balanced feel with my STX on it. Coach

The only thing I have found that is more sensitive is the Kistler Z-bone Don't think that the blanks that Kistler uses from NFC are the same blanks that NFC uses to make Edge rods. They are not. If you want a really sensitive rod then get a Edge. Of course you're going to have to come up with a few more dollars. NFC builds three levels of blanks for the public and then they build OEM blanks to spec. If I wanted to build $100 rods I could buy blanks from NFC if I had a large enough order. In other words don't get hung up on who builds the blank.

TFO rods are really good. Such quality rods. I own one and really like it. I also own a quantum smoke rod. It is very light and sensitive. I would recommend it. If you want something good, either or would be good. The smoke however, seems to me like it won't handle as much abuse as would a TFO.

Need to go to Anglers Pro tackle and check out the Halo Rods. I have a 7-11 heavy and a 7-6 heavy and 2 spinning rods. The first year is under warranty and then it goes to 10-15 year warranty for &30.00 replacement. Not a bad deal and truly love the rods. Check them out it don't cost nothing to look.
