Nice hybrids. I see you're using deep-diving crankbaits.. Are you running lead-core line or just letting out enough line to reach the depth you want. The hybrids at Millers Creek must have lockjaw, I haven't caught very many this summer.

The hybrids at Millers Creek must have lockjaw, I haven't caught very many this summer. Just enough out to bang the bottom at 11-13 feet. They are running a little shallow.

I've been seeing them suspended at about 18-20 feet off points in 30-40 feet of water at Millers Creek, which is usually a sign of inactive fish. Once in a while, you can entice one with a slab but it's been slow. I haven't been trolling in 10-15 feet water because this lake is full of stumps and rocks for the most part, and it's a crankbait-eating critter to bump the bottom. I notice that PKfishing posted he has found stripers in shallow water also... I need to come up with a better plan. Maybe I'd better unpack the castnet and try drifting with live bait. Or come down to Phantom until the water cools off up here 😉
