I'm trying to paint some baby bass patterns and wanted to see if anyone had any recent pictures they would be willing to share.

Thanks guys, I was trying to catch some little ones thursday and I could not catch one to save my life. I'm going to have to spend some more time dialing in the baby bass pattern tried a few different ones last night, but they are not good enough yet.

Grandma can catch the double digit bass with a cane pole, it takes skill to catch the little ones, LOL

I know it occurs on some level, but how much do bass cannibalize? Is it enough to use bass-looking lures, or are they for another species?

I think they do in the spring. My go to bait is a baby bass fluke. Catch a bunch of fish with it.

I sold 4 custom baby bass square bills to the guy working the gun bar in Academy last week. He swears by bass pattern crankbaits.

1st pic is the proper way to hold a fingerling bass.

A bass will eat whatever it can find, with all the baby bass loaded in the north texas lakes I'm sure the bigger bass are eating them up. Just my opinion on that though. I'm going to try and work on my colors a little more tomorrow and see if I can get close to the real thing.
