It's a long drive for me so I'm waiting for cooler October weather but then I'll be making a trip to Fork for some week day fishing. I'm in a smaller boat 16'...so I'm thinking of staying at that lodge on the southwest side of the lake and keeping my fishing pretty close.

If the hydrilla is better I could stay near the Minnow Bucket and fish that water.

Any help/recommendations would be appreciated.

I think I should have asked if there is any hydrilla on Fork now?

Not much shaking out on Fork as far as hydrilla.

Gonna be awhile before you see any significant hydrilla on Fork..

Haven't been up there in a while but Glade and Coffee Creeks are always worth a look.

Isn't Glade the big creek on the east side just above the bridge? Is Coffee in the north end too?

Thanks... I found Glade ... that area is perfect for me in a 16' boat.

The last time I was at Fork there was quite a lot of it right straight across the creek from Minnow Bucket, a nice long stretch about 1000yards long.

There is always grass there, just not necessarily hydrilla. There is some milfoil down there now.
