what KB said. But you will have to wade through a lot of dinks to get to bigger fish. We had an explosive spawn this spring and the little bass have taken over the lake.
The other side of the coin is next year and forward from there will be outstanding..............

well if you look at the results of the Sand Bass tournament held in August with 33 anglers fishing they didn't catch enough to feed the group. They were allowed to catch 10 with the top 5 to determine their weight.
I believe they had to add frozen catfish into the mix to get enough fish to feed everyone.
When the "usual" began with fish busting on little shad everyone said sand bass. Not the case. Baby bass are every where eating the shad. I have not caught a sand bass this year. And little sand bass should be every where because of all of the rain we had in the spring. They only spawn when the creeks are running.

We caught over 100 this past holiday weekend, big ones too.. They pull hard, had fun. The bass will move up after this little cool spell, ton's of shad in my cove...
