Tournament of ChampioNs (TOC) Rules
Toledo Bend Reservoir
Fin & Feather Resort
April 2, 2016


DECISIONS:
1. All decisions of the Tournament Director(s) are FINAL.
2. All protest must be submitted to the Tournament Director(s) in writing within 15 minutes of the designated weigh in.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. All contestant(s) must fish from a ChampioN manufactured boat. Stratos manufactured ChampioNs are allowed.
2. All State, Coast Guard, Federal Parks & Wildlife regulations shall apply at all times.
3. This Tournament is designed primarily for amateurs, therefore, anyone who has fished a tournament within the past 12 months of this Tournament with an entry fee over $1,000 or anyone who has provided guide service for pay within the past 90 days on the Tournament lake, will not be eligible to compete in this Tournament.
4. Contestant(s) must have proof of a valid fishing license for said Tournament lake on their person during Tournament hours unless exempt. If requested, license must be presented at time of weigh-in.
5. No one other than paid contestant(s) or Tournament officials are permitted in a competitors boat during Tournament hours.
6. Any contestant(s) found to be in violation of any Tournament rules and regulations will be subject to disqualification from this Tournament and all future TOC tournaments.
7. All bass caught by contestant(s) will be disqualified if any of the contestant(s) are found to be in violation of any Tournament rules and regulations.
8. Any person who has been disqualified from any fishing tournament(s) may be subject to being refused entry into this Tournament. Notify Tournament Director(s) prior to entry.
9. Tournament officials have the right to refuse ANY ENTRY.
10. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or adult with written parental permission.

REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEE:
1. Entry form with complete entry fee must be received before fishing.
2. NO REFUND OR SUBSTITUTION OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY REASON.
3. All registration will close at 9:00 pm the evening prior to Tournament day.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
1. No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by Tournament contestant(s) during Tournament hours.

SAFETY (THE FOLLOWING IS MANDATORY):
1. All boats must be equipped with some type of emergency ignition cut-off device (kill switch) on any remote steered outboard while main engine is in use. Ignition cut-off device (kill switch) must be attached to boat operator at all times while main engine is in use. Kill switch must operate properly. When the kill switch is activated; the outboard main engine must stop running immediately.
2. Boat operator must show proof of valid registration if requested.
3. US Coast Guard approved life jackets are required for each person in boat. Life jackets must be worn and fastened while main engine is in gear.
4. No boat shall have a motor of higher horsepower than the approved Coast Guard maximum.

PERMITTED FISHING AREAS, OFF LIMITS, INFORMATION & HOURS:
1. All bass must be caught during Tournament hours on official Tournament lake.
2. The Tournament lake will be off limits starting 12:00 AM on the Monday before the Tournament to all contestant(s) that have not prepaid. All prepaid contestant(s) are allowed to fish during the week prior to the Tournament until the official Off Limits time.
3. No fishing is allowed during official Off Limits which begins at 8:00 PM prior to Tournament day and ends at Start Time on Tournament day.
4. Trailering is allowed. Contestants may leave from any launch site on official Tournament Lake. No casting until official Start Time. Official Start Time will be announced/posted at registration. Stop Time will be 3:00 PM.
5. Contestant(s) must be in the weigh in line with fish by 4:30 PM. Any contestant(s) not in line by 4:30 pm will be disqualified.
6. No fishing information may be received from a non paid contestant from 12:00 AM on the Monday before the Tournament through the end of Tournament hours.

TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT:
1. All bass must be caught on artificial bait by casting. No trolling with big motor. Contestant(s) may use only one rod at any one time. Other rods may be in the boat for substitute purposes.

WEIGH IN, SPORTSMANSHIP AND CONSERVATION:
1. Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation are expected from every participant.
2. All bass weighed in will become the property of the Tournament and will be released back into the Tournament lake alive if possible.
3. All contestant(s) shall be required to bring their boat and respective partner with them to the weigh-in site when weighing in bass.
4. Dead fish penalty. A .5 lb penalty will be assessed for each dead fish. If contestant(s) big fish is dead, it will receive a .5 lb penalty.
5. All bass brought to weigh in station must be in weigh in bag WITH water.
6. 5 (five) bass limit. No contestant(s) may weigh in more than 5 (five) bass.
7. Bass must be weighed in by the contestant(s) who originally caught the bass and it must be in said contestant(s) physical possession in the weigh-in line.
8. Any artificially weighed or preserved bass will be disqualified and that contestant will be subject to prosecution under federal laws.
9. Minimum length of bass to be weighed in is 14 inches. Short fish will be assessed a 2 (two) lb penalty. Official measuring board is the CHECK-IT-STIK.
10. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth and Kentucky Spotted Bass (Black Bass) will be weighed in.
11. No contestant(s) may have more than 5 (five) bass in possession at any time during Tournament hours. Culling is allowed. No dead fish may be culled.

Entry is $150 per 2 man team. $10 will come off the top of each entry and go towards the Big Bass Pot

Cody do we weigh the bass we each caught or do we weight as a team?? # 7 rule under weigh in, sportsmanship. I assume we weigh just like in Basschamps..1 bag brings the teams 5 bass limit. I will be there regardless..
