Ain't no shame in the boat game... If your boat ends up floating, you're winning. The rest is all opinion. cheers

That's nothing a few days ago I witnessed a Toyota corolla pulling a pontoon boat. The guy passed me going the other direction toward palestine it was shocking/impressive little 4 banger. Lol The trailor hitch was at max 6inches off the ground.

He just hollered at his wife "Hey, come get me at 12 noon with some samiches!! And don't spend no money at the dollar store, head home and clean my house." .......... now he is heading back to prime the bulb before she shoots him off the trailer and heads to the dollar store to secretly spend $18.50 grin

Nissan Maxima towing capacity: 1000lbs
I appreciate the dedication, but I wouldn't want to be on the Interstate next to or behind that guy.......or in front of if I'm braking.

Ignorance is easily found in the world today, that's more than likely a "gamer" who decided to buy a boat laugh

Being serious though, it's so dangerous to tow with an undersized vehicle and not for the person towing. If you make decisions and choices that kill you that is fine, you're an idiot and somewhat deserve the consequences of your actions. It's always some innocent person or people that end up maimed or killed due to the decisions and choices of the ignorant and that is inexcusable...

Probably not too safe, but this coming from someone that fabricated a hitch for a 68 Camaro to pull a Jon boat trailer back in the day.

You can look at the "squat" in the car and see its not designed for a 20' bass boat but on the flip side: that Maxima can probably pass a lot of y'all on the highway. It has more HP then many of y'all's little trucks and minivans! Now about the tranny, brakes, suspension.......

I remember launching with a '72 Buick when i was a kid.

Probably wasnt a bad tow vehicle with a 455 and enough steel to outfit a tank.

Where art thou DOT? Far he knows not what he does. Now he must deal with the wet ramp on the boat removal later. I can never get away with those things. How do others make it work? Are they just that good. Can't be all luck at his age or he would already be dead on an earlier deal. wow
