Stillwaters out of Abilene is fishing Stamford tomorrow. The reports I've heard have been pretty tough. I fished three or four hours Sunday p.m. and caught only a white bass.

28 fishermen from Stillwaters fished Stamford on the 5th of September, from 6:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. There was exactly ONE keeper bass caught, 2.xx pounds. Fish kill must have been fairly extensive. TPWD put a bunch of fingerlings in there, and some of us caught a few of them in the 5 to 7 inch range. A couple more years and Stamford may be good again, but for now, it stinks.

Man that's rough, it's been that way since the water came up... Worst summer of fishing I've ever had in my life. Glad to see the water come up though. Next year should be a killer year
