I've not been on Hubbard Creek for ~3 years. Does anyone have info about water conditions, bass bite (what's working and where), best launch location and etc?
Thanks

You can launch with no problem at the dam.
The bad news is the fishing has been dead since the lake came up.

What does it look like over there now? Last time i saw it there was a little water in the bottom of the old creek bed. No lake just a small creek bed that could be seen from the bridge. I lived there years ago when it flooded and there was cause to think that the dam was in jeopardy. Then over the years with no rain it was pumped dry or very near dry. That was a very good fishing lake. I caught my first fish ever with a worm on the North side of Goat Island out there in the middle in front of the dam. That ruined me and changed my fishing life. First throw caught one. RUINED

jafish, you just didn't go or see far enough North. There were still lots of lake/water
when you got up to Tanglewood Island.

I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

machinist, that is good news. My first house there was on the tip of Tanglewood. My second house was on the other side of the ramp/bridge. The first time i ever saw a striper was floating dead on that lake. Some guy in another boat drove over while we were looking at it and told us what it was. Where does the water come to now. It looked like it had dried up from the bridge a few mounth ago. The lowest i had ever seen it was when the little island was showing just North of the bridge. Never thought i would see it in the condition its in now. Hope that thing comes back. I'v seen the wind get up on that lake when it was bad. Thanks for the info.
