Fished the lake until 10:30. Caught smallmouth and white bass. Decided to move to the river below Denison Dam. Thought we might get there before they started to release water, but just missed our window. Got in there and the water was flowing and got into some great action. I lost a couple at the boat. Roger caught a 30" and released it back to be caught again. Tony lost one that broke his line when he hooked it in the back. Had a great time and looking forward to doing it again.

Glad to hear you guys did well. If I am ever free, I've been wanting to head up to Texoma but after hearing that I may bypass the lake and head straight to the Red below the dam!
I'll have to do some more research into fishing below the dam, especially as far as safety is concerned(I'm still very inexperienced).

I'll have to do some more research into fishing below the dam, especially as far as safety is concerned(I'm still very inexperienced). I was concerned especially with the output. I am not an expert by any means and battled the current, fish, wind, guide boats, and dodged weights and hooks from bank fishermen. I would not hesitate to do it again, but I was glad there were 3 of us there. I was really glad after I got caught below the submerged bridge( pylons?) that Roger had his trolling motor. Thank you again! P.S. You will need an Oklahoma license for the river
