Tarleton State will be putting on a tournament series starting in the fall of 2015 through the spring of 2016 with the championship for both the College and Open division being held in June of 2016. The championship lake will be drawn at random.

The College series will be ACA/Boat U.S. sanctioned and participating teams will receive points towards school of the year.

We will be launching from the ray roberts marina for the ray roberts tournament. There will not be a launch fee and it will be reserved saturday and sunday for the open and college tournament. Huge thanks to Jason the Sanger high school fishing coach for setting this up for us and to Corey with Ray Roberts Marina for letting us use the ramp. This should make it a lot less hectic to get everyone launched and a smooth take off.

Look forward to seeing everyone out on the water.

We had 12 teams fish the open and a huge help from the Sanger High School Fishing team that volunteered. Jason Collett and his wife Carmen took us in like we were there own kids. We spend a lot of time on the road and being away from our parents, I had been in contact with Jason and Carmen the week of the tournament but the hospitality that we recieved when we got to Sanger was more than expected. They invited all 14 Tarleton Bass Club members into their home and fed us dinner, then brought us breakfast Saturday morning as well letting us use the sanger bass teams tents for weigh in. The entire experience was more than what we have ever experienced at a tournament or anywhere that we have traveled, it was truly a home away from home for last weekend and we look forward to being able to repay them one day in the future.

We are expecting a good turn out for the Toledo Bend tournament in October and will have pre tournament registration starting October 19th.
