I was curious if anyone had been fishing Gvine, and where you have been launching at. Looking for sandbass mostly.

Katies woods was open this last weekend. I've been putting in over in that area now that the water is receding.

I have heard a report or two that the sandbass have been chasing bait in the coves.

The last time my wife and I put in at Silver Lake marina the sandbass were going nuts. That was a few weeks ago. Haven't been back since, the $20 fee left a worse taste in my mouth than I thought it would.

Very nice info about Katie's Woods being open, I'll have to check that out.

I haven't been able to make it out in a few weeks - The road to Twin Coves Marina (through Murrell park) is open, though i don't know if murrell park is open and/or if there is any parking. I know there was an area to park and launch right outside the marina. I'm going to try and swing down there this week to see what it looks like.

FYI if you have a Twin Coves park pass - Flower Mound is offering partial refunds on all annual passes. Twin Coves park is supposedly closed until 2017... but i'm hoping they reopen it sooner than that for the ramp (which they had just finished rebuilding before the flooding).
